At 144 pixels per metre this LED pixel tape is capable of high resolution colour chasing effects. Each Pixel is RGB and an individual chip can produce 16,777,216 colour combinations in an 20 bit colour resolution (8 Bits with 12-bit built in gamma correction).

Sold in 1 metre lengths as standard but these can be cut down easily using the cut points allocated in between each chip, every 6.9mm.

This Toning Digital Pixel LED tape utilises the WS2815 IC Protocol, meaning it has a high PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) rate of 2000Hz and data transfer rate of up to 800kpbs. One of the advantages of the high PWM rate is being able to film the tape at up to 67FPS and not see any visible flicker.

Inferior PCB tapes commonly have a copper thickness of around one or two ounces, whereas we require our LED Pixel tape to have a 4oz copper.
